Gardner Denver take great pride in their ability to offer customers the complete solution from conceptual design, through manufacture, installation and in-life servicing. They can tailor a solution to suit your organisations specific requirements by designing and developing their own engine management interface; many aspects of the vehicle can be controlled including additional safety interlocks, fuel consumption, equipment control and diagnostics. Gardner Denver’s high performance and quality standards have been attained through constant investment ensuring continuous improvement of its products and people.
Gardner Denver have been designing, developing, manufacturing and installing On Board Systems for emergency response vehicles for nearly 30 years. At their facility in Bradford they engineer and install all the mechanical, electrical and electronic aspects of their vehicle systems. These systems are then installed across the globe by other Gardner Denver facilities or approved installers.
The company supports the products in the U.K. with 10 mobile service engineers, 20 OEM truck dealerships and also offers a drop-in clinic at the facility in Bradford. By manufacturing and testing both automotive vane and screw compressors, the company was happy that both were suitable for the NGN application. The Air Drive automotive compressor, combined with a DLG Driveline system offers significant advantages to the end user; in this case NGN and its operatives. The proven DLG Driveline unit fits perfectly into the vehicle’s drivetrain assembly, and does not affect the driveability of the vehicle in any way.
Within the market sector there are many claims made about fuel consumption, noise levels, installed weights and system performance. By working with their client base and by carrying out thorough back-to-back testing of competitive equipment, Gardner Denver On-Board Power has become the proven market leader, supported by factual data that has resulted in NGN’s decision to again select Gardner Denver as their partner. The Air Drive under floor screw compressor, hydraulic, pump and generator systems are developed to satisfy the needs of a wide range of customers in the markets where mobile power is required “in the field”.
"It’s fantastic to have a brand new vehicle as previously I was driving one of the older 09 reg Transits, which seemed to spend as much time in the garage as it did on the road. The new van is kitted out really well, there is more storage space and the new power unit is much quieter. This is very useful when you are working outside a customers house at night, it means fewer complaints. I’m really pleased with the van, it drives well and it’s helping me in my job and makes NGN look even more professional - I would definitely give it a five star review."
