How can we help you?
SSP Series A rotary lobe liquid transfer pumps are designed for high volume fluid transfer applications and are amongst the world’s largest pumps of this technology. Engineered to order and completely customisable to suit your exact application requirements, the Series A pump provides a complete engineered solution for customers in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and waste water treatment industries.
The Series A standard specification has stainless steel tri-lobe rotors available in three temperature ratings, allowing the pump to be operated at maximum temperatures of 70˚C, 130˚C, and 200˚C for both process applications and CIP (Cleaning in Place).
The non-contacting rotors within a fully swept pump chamber ensure no product spoilage or contamination.
Reversible operation available without the need for any additional modification, offering flexibility to customers.
A Series pumps have a robust cast iron gearbox which provides maximum shaft rigidity. Heavy duty taper roller bearing arrangements provide maximum support for both drive and auxiliary shafts.
Series A pumps are engineered specifically to meet your exact application requirements. From initial enquiry, the specification of the pump will be engineered to ensure the most appropriate technology and features are provided to meet operation requirements.
Series A pumps are strong, durable pumps that can handle a range of different pumped media varying from low to high viscosity liquid transfer products.
Low shear pumping is ideal for delicate media including organic solids in suspensions, creams, froths, gels, emulsions, and mixtures.
Whilst the A series is delicate enough to handle sensitive products, it is also robust enough to safely pump abrasive media and large solids.
Series A rotary lobe pumps offer high efficiency transfer of low, medium, and high viscosity pumped media whilst maintaining low energy consumption levels.
The optimum primary seal can be chosen to match the pumped media and duty conditions. Single or double mechanical seals include flushed or aseptic variants. Or, for arduous conditions, choose hard-wearing seal materials.
